The new winter hours will take effect beginning Monday November 16.

The zoo will be closed weekly Monday through Thursday, and will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to WGRZ.

The winter hours will be in effect until March 28.

However, there will be some weeks when the zoo is open more than Friday, Saturday, Sundays.

The Zoo will be open Monday, December 21 through Thursday, December 31, as well as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 18) and Presidents Day (Monday, February 15), reports WGRZ. The zoo will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

The Buffalo Zoo will keep in touch with patrons through social media channels.
