Cajun Seafood Restaurant & Bar Coming to Western New York
I am a huge seafood fan. If it wasn't for the cost, I would eat it all the time and I'm not even remotely kidding. I'll still try and eat some form of seafood every week or two.
Now, if you're talking Cajun-inspired seafood, that's even better. Well, get ready, because there's a new place coming to Western New York!
WGRZ is reporting that Western New York will soon be enjoying the taste of Cajun seafood at a restaurant called Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood Restaurant & Bar. The franchise is quickly growing and this Western New York location will be located in Blasdell, at the old Ruby Tuesday location on McKinley Pkwy. It's near BJ's shopping center plaza.
The company started in Maryland in 2013 and has since grown to 50 locations across the country.
They specialize in Cajun boiled seafood, but if you're taking a non-seafood fan there to eat, they also have sandwiches and pasta, so the menu is pretty open to every preference.
I can't wait until this place is up and running in Blasdell. I love seafood and Cajun seafood is so distinct and tasty. It's a unique spice and heat that really brings seafood to life and we just don't have a lot of it in Buffalo.
I live relatively close to the location as well, so you can bet to see me there!
