It's no secret that Western New York has some amazing restaurants. From the northtowns to the southtowns, Buffalo has incredible food and one of the most nostalgic places you can visit are diners.

Diners often transport you back in time. They harken back to simpler times and feature food that is not only comforting, but extremely reliable.

The feel of a diner just hits different than any other kind of restaurant.

One popular diner, which has been closed recently, will finally have its grand reopening tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 19th), and it got a huge makeover.

Woodlawn Diner is located on Lake Shore Road (Route 5) in Blasdell. It's a go-to for locals in the Blasdell/Hamburg area.

The diner closed temporarily back in March of 2021. This was due to remodeling that had to be done and while it's been nine months or so since they closed, they are finally set to reopen tomorrow, and it looks incredible.

Check out the makeover inside that Woodlawn Diner received. It looks AMAZING.

It looks like a diner you imagine in a movie. The aesthetics are fantastic. The jukebox, the booths, the classic seats and diner bar. The walls too. Everything about this looks amazing and I can't wait to visit.

My parents live a few minutes away in Hamburg, so I drive by Woodlawn Diner all the time. Definitely check them out if you get the chance.
