Buffalo Bills Pro-Bowler Is Also Good At Cornhole

Dion Dawkins proved over the weekend that he's not just really big.  He's not just good at football.  Evidently, he's pretty good at "Cornhole" too.

Over the last couple of years, the game "Cornhole" has taken over as one of the most popular yard games.  You know the game.  It's the one where people toss bean bags to large boards with a single hole in them.  The goal is simply to put the bag in the hole or on the board to score points, but man is it harder than it looks!  It takes a ton of practice to put those bags exactly where you want them.

But did you know there are actual professional Cornhole players?  It's incredibly competitive.  There are tournaments happening all the time.

This past weekend there was a tournament that they call the American Cornhole League’s Cornhole Mania tournament in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  It was a stepping stone for the pro players to make it into the 2022 ACL World Championships.

Prior to the main event was the SuperHole prelim event, which paired ACL Pros with celebrities hoping to qualify for SuperHole III at the 2022 ACL World Championships in August.

Dion Dawkins from The Buffalo Bills was part of the prelim event and ended up doing pretty well!  He was paired with  ACL pro, Lori Dool and they were able to bring in second place!  You can see all the pro results (and the prize money they were able to score) here.  Other celebrities involved include Callie Bundy, Mike Sorrentino, and Dale Moss.

It's a pretty impressive feat from the big man.  Congrats to him and Dool!
