Drunk Dad Made Nine-Year-Old Daughter His Designated Driver [VIDEO]
When 39-year-old Shawn Weimer of Michigan decided he was too drunk to drive, he was just being a responsible adult. But when he appointed his nine-year-old daughter as his designated driver, not so much.
After a night of indulging in whiskey, Weimer allegedly had his young daughter chauffeur him to a convenience store. In security camera footage aired on ‘Today,’ he can actually be seen drunkenly boasting to a clerk that the girl had driven him there. Fortunately, a concerned onlooker saw them leave the store and tipped off police.
For his irresponsible (and extremely boneheaded) move, Weimer face charges of second- and fourth-degree child abuse, as well as charges of being a habitual offender.
