Let’s face it, the spring and summer, while better than last year, won’t quite be back to normal this year. The Italian Heritage Festival, Allentown Art Festival and Canal Fest of the Tonawandas were all canceled this summer, but you can still get a taste of fair food and you won’t have to wait long!

WKBW reports that a walk-up fair food festival will be happening at The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence.

If you remember, a “drive-thru” fair food festival took place last summer at The Great Pumpkin Farm.

This fair food festival will feature all the same great foods people crave at fairs and festivals. We’re talking funnel cakes, kettle corn, fried onions, homemade fudge, ice cream, and so much more.

This will operate just like a food market. Different stands will be set up at The Great Pumpkin Farm grounds. People will park their cars, like they normally do for the fall festival, and walk up to vendors to buy food. You won’t have to wait in your car in long lines!

Maybe the best part about this is that vendors and customers won’t have to wait long at all. It’ll happen for two weekends: April 24-25 and May 1-2 from 11 am to 7 pm!

I can’t wait for this again. I remember how happy people were that The Great Pumpkin Farm was doing this last year for the drive-thru version, and now, it’s back but in walk-up form.

It’s been so long since I’ve had a funnel cake!
