It has only been one week since Billy Joel played to a packed house at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. Actually, that day had a lot of music going off. Styx played The Erie County Fair, and Darien Lake had a country show.

There were many highlights from the show as Billy covered all of his hits, some covers with one of the biggest moments happening when Buffalo's own Johnny Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls joined him on stage to sing "Iris".

A friend of mine, David "Gus" Griesinger is the CEO/Artist Relations of BackstageAxxess and Photographer/Writer for Buffalo Night-Life weekly and Goldmine Magazine contributor was on hand to shoot the show.

He shared some, up-close and personal pics with me and I wanted to share them with you. For those who weren't at the show or for those who were there sitting just a ways away from the stage enjoy another look at a music legend.  To see more pictures, set-list, and review of the show CLICK HERE.

It's nice to be back out to enjoy live music. And even though some shows are were forced to cancel and reschedule like KORN and Stained, it is important to stay positive and never take anything for granted.

Speaking of staying positive, you will need to test negative if you are planning on attending any show put on by Live Nation, they have issued this statement.

Please note events are now requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event OR full vaccination for entry. If you are not able to meet these guidelines please let us know by show date so that we may release your tickets. Thank you.
