I've heard the complaints before, in regards to cereal: "it doesn't taste or look the same when I was a kid."

It's no secret many popular kid cereals don't have the same look or taste they did back in the 80s or 90s, but General Mills is fixing that.

According to Business Wire, General Mills has brought back retro tastes and looks for some of their most popular cereals.

Cocoa Puffs, Golden Grahams, Cookie Crisp, and Trix has all brought back that nostalgic taste or look you've been missing.

Cocao Puffs is more chocolately, Cookie Crisp has more cookie taste, Trix is back to the fruity shapes (instead of the boring puff balls), and Golden Grahams has brought back its retro, honey taste.

“Our fans crave a taste of nostalgia – and, while these four cereals have always remained popular, we’ve answered their requests and brought back the taste they remember from childhood,” said Jennifer Jorgensen, vice president of marketing for General Mills cereal.

It'll be from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on October 3rd at 1 pm EST, but you can stream the drive-in experience into your living room. The first 100 people who sign up will receive free samples of cereal from General Mills.
