Great Technological Advance or Armageddon Warning?

Biometric Technology: Biometric Credit Cards and other "Biometric Recognition Devices".  Is this a good or bad thing?  There are obviously differences of opinions.  There are those who welcome the convenience and new technology, while some others see it as a sign of the end of times, based upon their understanding of THE BIBLE.
