We are still a full year away from the opening season at the new home of the Buffalo Bills.  They're set to start the 2026-2027 season in a brand new stadium for the first time in most people's lives.  For decades, they had opening seasons in what will eventually become known as "the old stadium."  To many of us, it's still Rich Stadium.  For some, it's still known as "The Ralph."

It's more jaw-dropping every time we see an update.  When you see these stadiums side by side (because they're literally right across the street from one another), it is hard to believe that the new one will have fewer seats than the old one.  The new stadium looks huge next to the old one.

Here's the video from inside the new stadium

Most of the updates we've seen have come from drones that fly around the job site and give us video from the sky.  One of the most recent updates was filmed on a cell phone from right inside.  It comes from Za Bills Podcast, and it was shared on X.

It's just a quick 24-second video, but it shows what the work inside looks like at this point in the project.  As he scans from left to right, you can see where the different seating areas will be.  You can see where the field will eventually be.  You can already picture games being played there, can't you?

I feel like when you see it from the inside it looks a little bit smaller.  The field area seems like it doesn't have as much room around the outside as the old stadium does.  But then you see the vehicles on the field and you realize how big it is.

We can't wait to see it when it's all done and hope to see more updates as often as possible!
