Bills Player Makes Ruthless, Startling Comment About McDermott

Time doesn’t necessarily heal all wounds, especially if you’re a Buffalo Bills fan. 

Bills Mafia is still stewing about the horrendous 23-20 loss to Stefon Diggs and the Houston Texans on Sunday; a game that could have been won or at least pushed into overtime, but due to some mind-boggling coaching decisions, was blown with 16 seconds left in the 4th quarter. 

Many fans and several sports pundits have even gone as far as calling it the Bills’ “dumbest” loss of the season. 

On top of those brutal final seconds, the Bills acted like a hot mess for most of the game, looking nothing like the team we saw on the field the first few weeks of the season.

Sean McDermott is taking most of the heat for the loss, and owned up to his mistakes, stating after the game, 

“We needed to run the clock and move the chains and that’s on me. We didn’t do that there, and that’s my fault.”

It’s not just Bills fans that were left with a bad taste in their mouths after the game. According to the Buffalo News’ Ryan O'Halloran, even the players are unhappy with McDermott’s performance this past Sunday.

We could speculate which Buffalo Bills’ vet said this, but considering that O'Halloran chose to keep the player’s identity anonymous, you can likely presume that it’s someone pretty important.

The controversial statement rightfully set off alarm bells for Bills fans on the Internet.

This is a great point. If your team is bad mouthing you behind your back, then there’s clearly a lack of respect there.

The frustration of Bills fans is brewing, and time isn’t making things any easier to take. In fact, this user reminds us that we just can’t seem to get it right, even after three years.

With McDermott’s future once again in question, it’ll be difficult to watch these next few games without wondering what this season holds for the Buffalo Bills. We’re pretty sure it’s going to be stressful.
