12 “Big Money” Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York
There were a lot of happy New Yorkers this weekend after Saturday Night's Powerball drawing.
The drawing was delayed for several hours, but when the numbers were released, the New York State Lottery confirmed that there were 12 "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York.

There was one grand prize-winning ticket sold from Saturday's Powerball drawing. That ticket was sold in Oregon. The $1.30 billion dollar jackpot was the 8th largest jackpot in US history.
Here in New York, there were some very happy Powerball players. 12 tickets sold in New York matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number, which means they won the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

Two of those 12 tickets also had the Powerplay which was 3x the prize amount, which means they won $150,000!
Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were: 22-27-4452-69 with a Powerball of 09.
The drawing on Saturday was delayed for several hours as Powerball officials waited for all the tickets to be double-checked.
The Powerball numbers are normally drawn at 10:59 pm on Saturday night, but due to one lottery jurisdiction issue "to complete required pre-draw procedures" the drawing was held at 2:29 am on Sunday morning.

This Powerball jackpot would also triple the current record for the largest lottery jackpot ever won in New York State.
