The winter weather is here in parts of New York State and travel has become hazardous for some drivers.

In order to help protect drivers along the I-90, New York State has issued a travel ban for tantum trailers and empty trailers until the weather improves.


Parts of New York State are getting around 2 inches of snow per hour and with gusty winds, there are chances for white-out conditions when driving.

The good news is that the snow is expected to stop or at least slow down as the day progresses and that means travel conditions should improve by later this evening.
