Will “Buffalo Joe” Get Let Go By The Buffalo Bills?
Some changes are coming to the Buffalo Bills' roster this weekend. The Bills are set to play their final preseason game at Highmark Stadium on Thursday and then have to get their roster down to the final 53. That means some changes will happen.
Is "Buffalo Joe" On The Cutting Block For The Buffalo Bills?
An amazing story: Joe Andreessen is living the dream of many Western New York kids, playing for the hometown team. He made the team as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and has played in 30 games for the Bills.

There are a couple of different outlets and "experts" saying that "Buffalo Joe" could be let go by the Bills at the end of the preseason. Alaina Getzenberg from ESPN predicted that the Bills would end up cutting Joe Andreessen.
This position makes for one of the toughest decisions. Losing Buffalo legend Joe Andreessen is tough, and there's a good chance he ends up on the roster over Jenkins or that the Bills decide to keep five inside linebackers. This is a coin flip, but Jenkins has played strong of late.
Has Joe Andressen Done Enough To Make The Bills?
In life, it is who you know, and Andreessen made the team when Coach McDermott was coaching, and he really liked Andreessen. The Bills have a new DC and a new scheme, but everything I have seen is that Andressen has played well this preseason in the new system.
Plus, he is a key player on special teams, so in my opinion, I think "Buffalo Joe" stays in Buffalo. The good news for Andreessen is that if he does get released by the Bills, one of the other 31 teams will pick him up for sure.
