This weekend, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will once again make history, but this time it is not in the NFL but back at his alma mater, the University of Wyoming. There is will be a special ceremony on Saturday where Josh Allen will do something no other player at the University has ever done.

Josh Allen Set To Make University Of Wyoming

This Saturday, Josh Allen will become the first former football player in the University of Wyoming's history to have his jersey retired. Allen will also be inducted into the Wyoming Athletics Hall of Fame as well.

Allen spent three seasons with the Cowboys after transferring from a junior college. He redshirted in 2015 and was the team's starter in 2016 and 2017 before entering the NFL draft.

During his career, he threw for 5,066 yards, 48 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions. He also rushed for over 700 yards at Wyoming. He went 1 for 1 in Bowl games as well.

Allen is also the highest draft pick out of the University of Wyoming. He was selected 7th overall in the 2018 NFL draft. Allen is one of four former Cowboys who were selected in the 1st round of the NFL. Over 85 Wyoming players were selected in the NFL draft.

Allen has turned into one of the best NFL quarterbacks since joining the league, including being named the NFL MVP last season.

Allen is expected to return to the University for the ceremony on Saturday.
