Buffalo Bills QB and reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen set a new NFL record in the Buffalo Bills' win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon. Allen, who also extended his undefeated streak after BYE weeks, rewrote the NFL record books on Sunday.

Josh Allen Sets New NFL Record

Ever since Josh Allen entered the league as a 1st round draft pick by the Buffalo BIlls, he has been a treat to score with both his arm and his legs, and today that threat led to him setting a new NFL record.

Allen threw for just 163 yards on 12 of 19 attempts and also had a touchdown to Khalil Shakir. He also rushed for just 7 yards, but had two rushing touchdowns in the Bills' 40-9 win over Carolina.

With that passing TD and two rushing TDs, Allen set a new record for the most games by an NFL QB to score both a throwing and rushing touchdown in a game, with 46 games.

Allen also became only the 2nd quarterback to have 70 or more career rushing touchdowns in NFL history. Former Panthers' QB Cam Newton is the only other QB with a career record of 75 rushing touchdowns. I have a feeling that Josh Allen could break that record before the end of the season.
