Independence Day Celebrations This Weekend In Western New York
There is always something going on in Western New York, and on Independence Day weekend, there are a ton of events to celebrate our country’s freedom.
During your regular trip to the grocery store, whether you shop at Tops or Wegmans, odds are you will see one or two people that have hats on, indicating that they served for our country. Hopefully, when you see a veteran, you thank them for your service every single time, but this weekend, there are several events happening around Western New York to honor those who have fought for our Independence, and you can see those events in Kadie’s Kalendar.
Every Friday, Kadie's Kalendar takes a closer look at the best events going on around Western New York for that weekend, and this week’s edition includes some of the best firework displays as well.
Take a look at all of the events happening this weekend, and let us know which one is your favorite from Kadie's Kalendar?

There is so much to choose from on the list, I completely get it, and when you are proud to be an American, you want to carve out time for all of them. However, if I had to choose one, the event that I am most intrigued by is the 2nd Annual Vet Ride at the Buffalo Naval Park. Just being at the Buffalo Naval Park is a humbling experience, to see how many people dedicated years to the service. Thank you to everyone who has served.
One event that sounds super fun is the Ellicottville Rodeo! It is happening throughout the weekend, so there are plenty of opportunities to go to the rodeo.
It's going to be a fun and exciting weekend in Western New York, but is it really that surprising? There is always something to do in Buffalo, and the F.O.M.O. is real, so choose wisely. :)
Kadie's Kalendar is posted every Friday on our website, displaying the top 10 events in Western New York for the upcoming weekend. Make sure you check back every Friday morning for the best weekend events in the 716.
