The Taste of Buffalo will go on this and I am old enough to remember when it used to be held all the way up and down Main Street before settling at their current location. I still remember trying not to trip over the rail tracks as I was trying to eat, drink and avoid bumping into other food fans.

Oh, how things have changed. And now with the advent of the food truck, chefs, cooks, and caters can easily carry and commute their culinary creations to crowds craving their kitchen-cooked comestibles. WGRZ has a full list of those that will be participating. Some are the originators and innovators in Buffalo's Food Truck Boom. Others are new to the roads.

The complete list is here. And as of Thursday, May 20, 2021, The Taste of Buffalo organization sent out a new, revised schedule for the event and what food fans can expect if planning to attend.

There will now be 4, four-hour sessions: Two on Saturday 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and two on Sunday 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. both allowing an hour and a half in between for clean up, sterilization and re-set.

New COVID guidance provided by the Erie County Department of Health:

Guests purchasing tickets online will need to complete a short Health Questionnaire that acknowledges that the ticket purchaser and their party will follow COVID guidance, that they have not been exposed to anyone with COVID and that they will not attend if they are sick.

Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test upon entering will no longer be required.

Masks will no longer be required for vaccinated individuals. Unvaccinated individuals will be encouraged to be responsible and wear a mask.

6’ distancing will remain in effect and will be enforced.
