It’s Official, Korn plans Western New York Return
Nu Metal legends Korn has announced their US tour for 2022, and it includes a stop in Western New York. The band, which formed in California in 1993, will be making a stop at Rochester's Blue Cross Arena on March 22, 2022.
The band, which recently announced their fourteenth studio album, Requiem, which is due in stores February 4th, will be heading out on a 23 city US tour produced by Live Nation with System Of A Down on select dates. Bad news, we won't be getting System of a Down here in WNY. The Good news, we will be getting Chevelle!
Korn changed the world with the release of their self-titled debut album. The FADER said;
There was an unexpected opening in the pop landscape and Korn articulated a generational coming-of-angst for a claustrophobic, self-surveilled consciousness. Korn became the soundtrack for a generation’s arrival as a snarling, thrashing, systemically-restrained freak show.
Chevelle, who will be opening the show in Rochester, formed in Illinois in 1995. Their second album, "Wonder What's Next" was certified double platinum. The band has released nine albums, with their latest "Niratias" coming out in March of this year.
