Looks Like The Buffalo Bills Have a Significant Injury On Offense
The Buffalo Bills are just three days away from their final preseason game of 2021, which will be played this Saturday at 1 pm at Highmark Stadium against the Green Bay Packers.
It's not clear how many starters will see playing time in the game, but there are a few players we likely know won't play because of injuries. There was a new player on the injury report today and it's a key player on offense.
Bills wide receiver and returner Isaiah McKenzie appeared on the injury report with a shoulder injury.
McKenzie was hurt in Tuesday's practice after getting hit by safety Jordan Poyer. McKenzie eventually walked off the field under his own power, but according to Ian Rapaport of The NFL Network, McKenzie was set to have an MRI on his shoulder.
McKenzie was seen at Bills practice with his left arm in a sling, according to WROC-TV sports director, Thad Brown.
The Bills also signed a wide receiver and kick returner on Wednesday, Steven Sims.
Sims spent two seasons with The Washington Football Team and this signing could be an indicator of McKenzie's injury and the fact that rookie Marquez Stevenson is also working back from an injury.
The Bills need a returner for the final preseason game at the very least, which is where Sims comes in. But hopefully, McKenzie isn't out long-term.
The Bills have to cut the roster down to 53 players by August 31st.
