Mother’s Day Jacktivities!

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend!!  Take the time this weekend and let your Mom know just how special she is.  There is a ton of activities around town that Mom will love to check out so if you’re looking for ideas here’s a couple fantastic ones she will love!

What Mother doesn’t love the zoo!  I’m sure she use to take you when you kids and I’m also sure that while she was busy holding your coat, running after, or making sure that you and your other siblings didn’t stick your hand in a cage.  I’m sure that Mom never even got the chance to even enjoy the Zoo  so here’s the perfect chance to let you wander the  zoo and FINALLY see all the animals.  Tomorrow at the Buffalo Zoo at 11am is their Mother’s Day Brunch.  Take Mom out for an upscale breakfast brunch which will include animal presentations and admission to the zoo.  If you want more details on this one check out the zoo’s website www.buffalozoo.org

Another great adventure for your Mom for Mothers day is the Niagara Wine Trail USA.  This weekend is extra special because they are holding their event called Wine Trail Blossoms.  My Mom thought this one would be pretty cool.  Celebrate Spring on the Niagara Wine Trail where you can taste some amazing wine at each winery and even collect a special gift at each one.  At each winery you’ll receive a piece of a picnic pack – bag, buffet plate, cheese knife, glasses, corkscrew, and much, much more!  Tickets are good for all weekend long and they include a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery and of course a special gift at each winery.  The best part since it’s not a guided tour you can start at any winery and take your time through the wine trail.  It will be a beautiful weekend to check out the Niagara Wine Trail USA for Wine Trail Blossoms.

Finally another favorite of mine and my mother’s (yea it’s the country girl in us that goes to this one every year) is the 56^th Annual Holland Tulip Festival.  All weekend long you’ll get the chance to get out to Holland and check out the Amusement Rides, the Kiddie Parade, the Queen’s Pageant and Talent Show, and even the Arts and Crafts Show at the High School.   You’ll even get to buy Mom lunch at this one because they will be holding a Chicken BBQ today which is quite yummy if I do say so myself.  This weekend treat Mom to some fun at the 56^th Annual Holland Tulip Festival.
