The Boulevard in Amherst, formerly known as Burlington Plaza, has a notoriously annoying parking lot to navigate through. It’s already home to popular shopping destinations like Target, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, and 50 other stores and restaurants. It’s always crowded, and finding a parking spot near the store where you want to shop is often stressful.

Well, it looks like it will be a little more difficult to park at The Boulevard. Starting this Thursday, October 27th, you’ll be able to shop at  T.J. Maxx, Home Goods, HomeSense, and Sierra as well.

T.J.Maxx and HomeGoods used to be part of Amherst Commons on Sheridan Drive but have relocated to The Boulevard. Both Sierra, a store specializing in outdoor gear, and HomeSense, which specializes in high-end furnishings and decor, are brand new to the Buffalo area.

All four new stores, along with Marshalls which was already there, are owned by TJX Companies Inc., making Amherst the first town in New York State to have five stores in their family all in the same shopping center.

Bargain shoppers all over Western New York are pumped by the addition of these four popular stores to The Boulevard. Just remember that if you plan on venturing there (especially during the first few days or weeks that they’re open) to give yourself a little extra time to find a parking space.
