Popular Beach In Hamburg Damaged By Flooding And Wind

The winds and rain of last week's storm caused extensive damage along Lake Erie's beaches and waterfront.

One of the hardest hit places locally is Hoover Beach in Hamburg.

According to Metro Source News:

Hamburg's town supervisor says cleanup efforts at Hoover Beach could take a long time to complete.  He tells The Buffalo News dozens of homes suffered wind damage and flooding during last week's storm.

Some property owners believe their repair bills could reach tens of thousands of dollars.

The Town of Hamburg is helping resident clean up the mess this week. Debris is piled up and the weather this week is not any help. Temperatures will drop and rain and snow will hit the area before Friday.
