Popular Wedding Venue Open After Massive Fire Over Weekend

There was a pretty big fire at the property that has the popular barn wedding venue, The Hayloft.

Nobody was hurt. I think that is important to note first.

We were getting so many calls telling us this morning that there was a massive fire at the popular wedding venue at The Hayloft. So, we decided to look into it.

Over the weekend, there was a very big fire that was happening by The Hayloft in East Aurora, but the venue went on Facebook to notify everyone that it was the storage building in the back of the property. In fact, they even included a map so that people would not get confused. You know how it goes: once news happens people THINK they know the story or, accidentally change part of the story and it ends up getting twisted like a game of telephone.

The Hayloft wrote on Facebook over the weekend about the incident.

Please note: this does NOT affect any of our buildings used for weddings. The office, stables, HayLoft barn, cottage, and other storage buildings are untouched and safe. While we are devastated at the property lost, we are so grateful that no one was injured, and our wedding venue remains intact.
