It was not a good night for Buffalo Sabre fans after the team lost its season opener 4-0 at home to the New York Rangers. Lots of fans were upset, and one fan totally lost it over the loss, and his reaction was caught on camera.

Many members of Saberhood were not in a great mood after three periods of play in the season opener at KeyBank Center. There was hope that the team would snap the current longest active playoff drought in the NHL this season, but if the team continues to play like it did to open the season, the might not happen.

If you ask me, that fan had every right to be as angry as he was after that loss. The Sabres gave up 3 goals in the 3rd period and looked like they had no sense of urgency all game long. Even their head coach, Lindy Ruff, called out the face-off takers for losing around 80% of them during the game.
