Shooting At Downtown Casino Leaves 3 Hurt
Shots rang out in the early morning hours in the parking lot of the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino
After a large number of calls to 911, officers from the Buffalo Police Department were called to the scene of a triple shooting outside of the popular downtown entertainment venue.
Officers found 3 victims in total, two men and 1 woman, all of whom are in their 20s. Investigators have only said the 3 people who were shot live in Buffalo and they have not released any additional details about the individuals who were hurt. The 3 people were transported to the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo's Grider neighborhood and they are currently in stable condition.

The two men who were shot and treated at ECMC were later taken into custody by police officials and are being charged with possessing an illegal firearm. During the initial investigation, officers said that dozens of spent shell casings were found spread around the parking lot and parking garage at the Casino.

Assaults in Buffalo are down by more than 18 percent over the last 15 years according to recent crime data that was released by the City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Police Department.
The drop in crime is even more extreme when you look at the data on a monthly basis.
