Last year's 'Slow Roll' season got cut short (thanks a lot Covid), but for 2021 it's back. At least, it will be shortly. Monday, May 3rd to be specific. So if you've been looking for something to do to get the kids out of the house or hell, you just want to get out yourself and meet some new people, you should look into 'Slow Roll Buffalo.'

If you don't know what I'm talking about, 'Slow Roll' is one of the biggest free and inclusive community bike rides around. We're talking around the world, not just Western New York. The organizers started the ride in 2014, and 'Slow Roll Buffalo' is a great place to meet new people and see another side of areas of Buffalo you already know, or might not already be familiar with. They have guided rides for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. It really is more than just taking a bike ride with random people.

Now I don't know about you, but I see it as another way to get some exercise without it seeming like "work." Ten miles (round-trip), even at a leisurely pace, is at least a start to losing this Covid-10 I can't seem to shake. Shake was probably the wrong word because my gut seems to be taking after Santa Claus at this point; shaking like a bowl full of jelly.

The new "season's," schedule is below, but they're only putting out the first half of the year at this point. The reason being, like the rest of us, the organizers expect regulations will change as we get further into the summer. If that happens, it will help determine what the rest of the rides look like.
