Buffalo Bills Great Steve Tasker One Step Closer to Hall of Fame
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is choosing their class of 2026, and has narrowed down the Seniors category to 9 semi-finalists.
The 9 Semi-Finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Seniors Category
They are Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, Otis Taylor, Henry Ellard, Stanley Morgan, L.C. Greenwood, Jacoby, Eddie Meador, and Buffalo Bills ace special teamer Steve Tasker.

Tasker is now one step away from being entered into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The committee will narrow it down to 3 finalists.
Was Steve Tasker the Greatest Special Teams Player Ever?
Many would argue yes. He was a 5-Time All-Pro and 7-time Pro Bowler for special teams.
How Steve Tasker Ended Up in Buffalo
The former 9th-round pick of the Houston Oilers joined the Bills after one season in Houston and would spend the rest of his career in Buffalo from 1986 to 1997. He was an ace at blocking field goals and covering kicks. He was also a secret weapon for Jim Kelly and the Bills' passing game.
Will Steve Tasker Finally Get Into the Hall of Fame?
It's hard to say. One would think Ken Anderson, a former MVP, and Roger Craig, an all-time running back, are shoe-ins at this stage. That leaves a third spot, though. Tasker may not have the most seniority, but his resume speaks for itself. He would be one of the first-ever Special Teams-focused Hall of Famers if he were to make it in; that isn't a kicker. Devin Hester made it in for being possibly the greatest kick returner ever. Taskter, though, would be in for being an all-around great special teams player.
I think he has to go in. The third phase of the game is incredibly important, and Tasker is the greatest of all time. What do you think?
