The 2022 NFL Draft is almost three rounds complete (as I type this), and it's been a very unpredictable draft thus far. 12 wide receivers went in the first 54 picks and only one quarterback in the first 73 picks.

The Buffalo Bills took cornerback Kaiir Elam out of Florida in the first round (23rd overall) and they traded down twice in round 2 before drafting Georgia running back James Cook with the 63rd overall pick.

Cook is the brother of Minnesota Vikings all-pro running back Dalvin Cook and is explosive with tremendous pass catching ability. He should fit right in with the Bills offensive scheme.

The Cook pick was announced in Las Vegas at the draft by former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson.

Johnson won the Bills fans in the crowd over after proclaiming that the Bills were the only NFL team in the state of New York.

Stevie is one of the most beloved Bills players of the past 20 years and this is textbook him to do this. He's easily one of my favorite Bills players during the drought; one of the best route runners of any receiver of our generation.

The Bills will pick at 89th overall. They have six picks on Saturday, with four of those picks in round 6.

Wide receiver, linebacker and offensive line seem like the most likely targets.
