Subway Pole Dancing…What?

Remember when Pole Dancing was reserved for Strippers? The big news in public transportation now is 26-year old Ryan Wenzel (not pictured), who entertained riders of New York City's L Train with a pole dance.

While the show may have seemed spontaneous, it turns out it was actually part of a shoot for an upcoming Girl Talk video.

As pole dancing grows in popularity, more and more wannabe entertainers are using the poles found in most subways to show off their skills.

The trend cuts across cultures and genders, as evident from the videos below. Warning: Some of these videos may titillate; others may disturb.
