We won’t know for almost a month if the Green Bay Packers’ 15-1 season ends with a second straight Super Bowl win, but the team’s continued success has certainly helped it snag the title of America’s most popular football team.
I don't know why people feel the need to riot after winning a sports championship. The Green Bay Packers just won the Superbowl, now what are you going to do? Flip over some cars and burn up the city. Luckily, the gang from Mystery Science Theater 3000 were there to witness the Bedlam and give us this exclusive footage from Wisconsin.
The Super Bowl hasn’t always been so super. In fact, throughout the ‘80s and into the first half of the ‘90s many of the games were blowouts the likes of which are rarely seen during the regular season.
We’ve had better luck with Super Bowls lately, and this year’s match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers is about as even as can be.

The games lived up to the hype. Well, actually both games looked as if they were going to be blowouts, but both the Bears and Jets rallied in the second-half, after falling behind early, to make the championship games at least watchable. But in the end, it was the Packers and the Steelers who earned the right to play in the Superbowl in two weeks.
