The City Of Buffalo Now Has It’s Own Featured Board Game
The City of Good Neighbors, The Queen City, An All America City however you refer to the City of Buffalo there is a new fun, enjoyable way to take in all the sites, landmarks, and history of the area all from the comfort of your own home.
Buffalo has now joined the family of over 300 gaming units that include Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and even Pokemon.
A major toy and gaming company (Hasbro) has just partnered with a major local grocery store (Tops) and one of the premier cancer institutes in the country (Roswell Park) to help a great institution for helping children with illnesses (Oishei Children's Hospital).
Who hasn't grown up playing the board game Monopoly? Picking out the cool, albeit strange player's pieces. What was with the old shoe? Well, it looks like the city of Buffalo has its own Monopoly Themed game. So instead of the traditional pieces, this version will have a chicken wing, a Tops truck, a Ride for Roswell bike, a Danforth snow/ice shovel, University at Buffalo Mascot Victor E. Bull, and a West Herr car.
They are on sale now at participating Tops Markets in Western New York today (November 9, 2021) with 100% of the proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer patients at both hospital systems.
