They also stated that the team and the county would not have pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics at the stadium on game days due to the possibility of people having too much to drink and then asking for the vaccine.

I have seen on social media people planning on getting a fake vaccine card so they can show proof of vaccine when they enter the stadium. That would be a big no-no.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz stated that if you are found to have a fake vaccine card, you could face a Class D Felony. So what does that mean?

A Class D Felony in New York State is used for such crimes as fraud, theft, robbery, and burglary. In the case of using a fake vaccination card to enter Highmark stadium, you could be charged with fraud.

The current jail time for being found guilty of a Class D Felony is probation with no jail time up to a maximum of 7 years in jail.

Currently, the vaccination mandate will go into place for the Bills at their next home again against the Washington Football Team. The proof of vaccination policy also extends to KeyBank Center and for Sabres and Bandits games when they begin.

Any fan over the age of 12 will have to show proof of at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine in order to attend games in person.
