Who Are The Most Marketable Players On The Buffalo Bills?
Choosing a celebrity to market your business can be a risky investment. It can also be an incredibly profitable one. How do you choose? And what Buffalo players would make the list?
Why is it risky? The person that you trust to be your spokesperson is going to be the face people remember when they think of your business. If that person does something that is socially unacceptable or that people simply disagree with, your company, and possibly your life savings, could be in jeopardy.
Action Network ranked the NFL's top marketable stars based on a lot of factors, but most importantly - their popularity outside of the game of football. Does someone who doesn't watch football know who they are? And do they like them? They based their ratings on three things: social performance, audience rating, and overall likability.
Tom Brady snagged the top spot in that list and it's easy to see why. It's not something that Buffalo fans like to hear but if we're being honest, he's a champion at just about everything that he does. He wins. He doesn't do many things that are incredibly controversial and he stays out of trouble. Unless your team is playing against him (or continually losing to him) it's easy to see why people love when he's on their team. You can bet that he's an influential player.
Odell Beckham Jr. was second on the list.
Did any Buffalo Bills make the list? You bet they did.
There's a reason why Josh Allen's jersey has been one of the hardest to get your hands on over the past year. Much like Tom Brady, he's a big reason why the Bills have a winning culture in their building again. He doesn't do anything incredibly controversial and he stays out of trouble. Josh Allen came in at #8 on the list.
Also in the top 20 from the Buffalo Bills was Stefon Diggs. He came in at #18.
Interestingly, no current New England Patriot made the top 30.
The Bills however have a bunch of players that could have made the list. We've got a handful of players that come to mind immediately. They've all either got swagger unlike any other, give back to their community, or just incredibly liked. Who would you put on your list of marketable players on the Bills?
