Maybe I just don't get it.

I used to keep everything. Everything.

I would not say that it was to a hoarding level, but it was more I like to say cautionary. You never know when you're going to need that extra piece of wood, or you never know when that old item might become a collectible and worth some money--so, I kept everything.

Once I turned 30, I decided that anything that looked old or that has been sitting around for over a year, I would buck up and just throw it out and not look in the rear view mirror. Now, I know that this is cool, it is retro, but do you ACTAULLY want that in your kitchen?

There is a group on Facebook that is really fun to be a part of. It is called "Growing Up in Buffalo and the Burbs in the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's" and they have so many fun things that people in the group bring up and reflect on. But this one post really I was surprised at.

One member posted this old school stove, with 8 burners, the middle griddle and 3 ovens and asked members whether or not they would KEEP OR SELL.

EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. said that they would keep it!

But, would you really put than in your kitchen this very second? Be honest.
