Wind Advisory Coming For Most Of WNY
Get ready for a windy Thursday night into Friday morning.
According to WIVB Weather, a Wind Advisory will be in effect for Erie, Chautauqua, Niagara, Orleans and Genesee counties starting at 11 pm Thursday night and lasting until 10 am on Friday.
Gusts of 45-50 mph are expected, so make sure to take anything that could blow around, inside your home or garage.
Thursday is expected to be pretty rainy my mid-afternoon and lasting through the overnight hours, when some light snow could fall by Friday morning. It shouldn't accumulate however for most of the area, a coating at the most.
There's also a Lakeshore Flood Warning in effect for Erie and Chautauqua's lake Erie coastline.
