13-Year-Old WNY Girl Stabbed in Back

A 13-year-old girl was apparently stabbed in Lockport early this morning.

The incident occurred between the girl and 20-year-old Derrick T. Washburn, who police arrested Friday on charges of first degree attempted assault, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, first degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child, WIVB reports.

Washburn was arraigned this morning in city court and is at Niagara County Jail with a $10,000 cash bail, according to East Niagara Post.
