5 Terrifying Bridges You Will Cross in Western New York
Buffalo and Western New York are home to many bridges that people often cross on a daily basis. If you live on Grand Island, you know what I mean. Some of these bridges are big. Some Narrow. Some are just really high off the ground. For those of you (me) who have problems with heights, bridges aren't exactly a fun adventure to cross over.

Why did I choose these bridges? Because they are well-traveled. There are certainly plenty of others in WNY that people cross, but these are crossed by thousands of people daily. So, chances are, you know these bridges well.
Traffic in Buffalo and the 716 is not nearly as bad as in other large cities, though these bridges can make it tricky. This is especially true for Grand Island, where the afternoon commute can often back up the 190 North heading onto the South Grand Island Bridge for a mile or 2. It was much worse when there were physical toll booths in Buffalo. They were taken down in favor of EZPass years ago, and it's dramatically improved traffic to Grand Island, let alone around the entire city.
