Bills GM Brandon Beane’s Comments Causing Controversy With Fans on Social Media

The NFL just had its annual draft and the start of free agency was back in March. The Bills roster is just about set, other than cuts that would happen between now and the end of training camp in late August.

However, the cloud hanging over all 32 NFL teams is the pandemic and whether or not team facilities will be getting back to normal in the coming weeks and months as more and more people get fully vaccinated.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane has been a busy person the last few weeks; with free agency and just getting done with the draft, and signing undrafted free agents.

According to ESPN Buffalo Bills' reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques, Beane was a guest on the One Bills Live Show on Wednesday and talked about getting players vaccinated. Beane said if it came down to cutting an unvaccinated player to get back to normalcy in the facilities (no masks), he would do so. In regards to the potential rule to reach a certain number of vaccinated players.

Beane added he doesn't want to go through the headaches of 2020 and thinks it could be an advantage for the Bills.

Right now, there's no rush to trim the roster since it's only May, but we will see what happens in the NFL over the summer and just how many players (Bills players) get vaccinated and whether or not their team facility can operate the way it did before 2020.
