Adams reportedly would be "happy to play in Buffalo."

The Buffalo Bills have been connected to virtually every single available big-name wide receiver since trading away Stefon Diggs. After all, replacing a receiver like Diggs is no easy task seeing he is an all-pro player.

The issue for the Bills has been cap space because after they traded Diggs they were left with a tremendous amount of dead cap. That means, in the simplest of terms, they don't have a lot of money to spend on anyone, let alone a high-priced star wide receiver.

The NFL is flexible, though, and so are the Bills.

Las Vegas Raiders' star wide-out Davante Adams recently asked for a trade. He is definitely on the level of Stefon Diggs and would instantly provide Josh Allen and the Bills offense with an all-pro target.

The question is, with the little cap space the Bills have, would they even bother inquiring about Adams? The answer appears to be yes:

This does not mean, of course, that they are trading for Adams. To make it work, they would have to get Las Vegas to retain a good portion (if not all) of Adam's $13 million salary for this season. That's not easy to do. It would mean the Bills would have to give up a lot more in a trade than other teams, who are not as close to the salary cap, to get him.

Then there's the question of whether he would want to play for Buffalo. He has had successful relationships with the QBs on two other interested teams: Aaron Rodgers of the Jets and Derek Carr of the Saints. The answer to the question is also, apparently, yes: Adams would like to play in Buffalo, according to Ian Rapoport. To read more about that, CLICK HERE and see the tweet below. In the article, he goes into more detail about the Bills.

All of this is ultimately speculation, but both sources are very credible ones. Do you think the Bills should trade for Davante Adams? Let me know: Pat@WBUF.com
