The Buffalo Bills just got over $10 million in cap space due to former cornerback Tre White’s Post June 2 release going into effect. It was a much-needed relief for a team that only had about a million dollars in cap space previously.

The Bills are in a bit of a transition year with their roster and salary cap after releasing big names like Tre White, Safety Jordon Poyer, and Center Mitch Morse. They also traded star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, which made them eat $30 million+ in dead cap space this season. Their receiver room, in particular, is trying a lot of new things due to the Diggs trade and the loss of former starter Gabe Davis, who left for Jacksonville as a free agent.

It’s not doom and gloom for the Bills passing game, though. They have a generational talent in Josh Allen at quarterback who can make any receiver productive. They drafted receiver Keon Coleman. They signed receivers Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mack Hollins, and Chase Claypool while still having rising star Khalil Shakir on the roster. They have Justin Shorter who missed most of his rookie season due to injury. Let’s also not forget they have Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox at tight end.

Despite losing Tre White at corner and Jordan Poyer at safety, the Bills have Rasul Douglas, Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, Cam Lewis, Taylor Rapp, and free agent signing Mike Edwards. Plus, head coach Sean McDermott has a way of getting a lot of production out of his defenses no matter who is manning it.

So it’s not doom and gloom, despite what some in the national media will say.

Still, the Bills will always be looking to add talent. After all their sack leader last year, Leonard Floyd, came in late in the offseason. Free Agency is always an ongoing process for everyone in the NFL and now that the Bills have some room they COULD look to add someone to the roster.

I’ve gathered a list of who I think they might be interested in bringing in, for the right price, now that they have some cap space. I Emphasis MIGHT be interested in. I don’t know if they are or will. These aren’t rumors, just ideas. Bills General Manager Brandon Beane might honestly just sit on the money in case of injury or trades later in the season. So, here are 7 Free Agents That Could Still Sign with the Buffalo Bills.
