It feels like every day we look at the injury report, there's a new name on it for the Buffalo Bills. This week, it is another pivotal player who could change the landscape of the game against their rival Kansas City Chiefs.

Taron Johnson is now listed on the injury report

The shocker came today when suddenly Taron Johnson's name appeared on the injury report. He hasn't been there all week, and suddenly he showed up today as "questionable" to play on Sunday against the Chiefs. He was limited in practice this afternoon with what is listed as a groin injury. It could turn out to be nothing, and we could still see Johnson take the field on Sunday. The question is, who will take his place if he's not ready?

Players who were listed as "Out" include DaQuan Jones, Joshua Palmer, and Linebacker Shaq Thompson.

The impact of Taron Johnson vs. The Chiefs

You always hear coaches say, "We believe he is our best option to succeed at that position" when talking about their players and how they choose their starters. In the case of Taron Johnson, he's always been their best option at nickel corner. So far this year, he's struggled a little. But, is there a better option to put up against Travis Kelce? Normally, that job falls to Johnson, and in the past, he's done a decent job of covering him. If he can't go, who will step into that role?

Isaiah Pacheco has already been ruled out

The Bills have been struggling this year against the run game. Although they had some success reigning in one of the league's most efficient runners last Sunday in Carolina, before the bye, the Bills seemed to be a pretty porous defense, especially when it came to the run.

The Chiefs' starting running back, Isaiah Pacheco has already been ruled out against the Bills. Will that make the Bills' job a little easier, or will they be dealing with some fresh legs instead?

We will find out Sunday when the Bills and Chiefs take the field at 4:25 pm.
