Every city likes to claim that they have amazing street art.  London has Bansky and his famous “Little Girl with the Balloon”.  There’s “Love will Tear Us Apart” by D’Face in Paris.  And north of the border, there is “Nobody Likes Me” from iHeart.  Back home here in the good ole’ United States of America, Portland Oregon has a really amazing collection.  But here in the queen city, we have seen the amount of street art and murals on the rise significantly; during the last decade.

Having always worked in the suburbs, I haven’t really had the chance to explore the downtown street art scene.  But now that I make the trek daily to WBUF headquarters in Lafayette Square, I am noticing more and more street art each day.

Here are some of the amazing works of art that you can feast your eyes on in The Queen City.

465 Washington Street, Buffalo – This one is called “Wildflowers” and I get to see it every day when I park my car.

Art Alley - 3rd Street, Niagara Falls – I stumbled upon this really cool exhibit while bar hopping on 3rd street one day. The piano out in front works, although it could stand to be tuned, and the alley itself is a brightly painted visual.
