Buffalo and Western New York were on display for the entire country on Monday, September 19, 2022, with the arrival of Monday Night Football at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

The Buffalo Bills were the host for the Tennessee Titans in their home opening game in front of a sold-out crowd.

Of course the Buffalo Bills did not disappoint on the field as they dominated the Titans on national TV, beating Tennessee 41-7. The game was so lopsided that the Titans pulled their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the 3rd quarter and started playing their rook QB Malik Willis.

While the game itself was amazing, there were lots of fun and interesting activities that took place before the game kicked off.

The Bills dedicated quite a bit of time towards honoring the Buffalo 10, the people who were killed by a domestic terrorist in May 2022. Many important Buffalonians took the field and paid homage to those lost in that act of violence.

In addition to that, the world-famous Singing Cops performed the National Anthem for the more than 71,000 people who were on hand for the game.

Donning the field wearing customized red Buffalo Bills jerseys with the number 10 and Buffalo 10 embroidered on the nameplate, they were joined on the field by the Buffalo Police Department Honor Guard while they sang the first verse of The Star-Spangled Banner.

While this wasn't the first time that Buffalo Police Officers Moe Badger and Michael Norwood have sung the National Anthem at a Buffalo sporting event, as they have sung for the Bills and Sabres on many occasions, it by far was the most impactful.
