Cinco De Mayo happens... you guessed it every May fifth. And not to be confused with May fourth, 'MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU', Cinco Di Mayo is celebrated in Mexico and the United States in honor of a military victory in 1862 over the French forces of Napoleon III.

In Buffalo, it means another day in another month to specifically focus on celebrating something special and unique.  However, to be fair, it seems Buffalonians always find a reason/excuse to party for a specific reason at least one day a month. January has New Years Day. February we celebrate Mardi Gras, March is owned by St. Patrick, April we go from Easter into Dyngus Day, and in May is no different, we have Cinco De Mayo.

And this year, what better way to celebrate it in style… than from the rooftop at Deep South Taco, downtown Buffalo location at 291 Ellicott Street? Don’t miss the Cinco De Mayo private rooftop party with proceeds to benefit Roswell Park, thru the Courage of Carly Fund, sponsored by Ruskova vodka. Tickets are limited and are available HERE.

The party starts at noon with live music. And your special rooftop access ticket will also include food, drinks, giveaways, and prizes.  What a better place to sip on drinks share some nachos, sing dance, and celebrate with friends and family than from the rooftop?

Celebrate in style and celebrate for a cause. Like my grandfather always said: "If you can afford to go first class, you can afford to treat yourself."

Oh, and the other days and months we here in Western New Yorkers celebrate. June, July, and August? It's the summer we make the most out of every day. September October, November, December? Bills season.
