Today is 'Pi Day' and there's no better way to celebrate than by enjoying a delicious chicken finger pizza pie! Pi Day is where we celebrate the mathematical irrational number which starts out 3.14, then goes on and on forever. According to History.com, the origin of Pi Day is,

Founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, March 14 was selected because the numerical date (3.14) represents the first three digits of pi, and it also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday. The first Pi Day celebration took place at the Exploratorium (Shaw’s place of work), a San Francisco-based interactive science museum, and featured a circular parade and the eating of fruit pies. It wasn’t until 2009, however, that it became an official national holiday when the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation.

Before I moved to Buffalo, I had never had a Chicken Finger pizza pie. I've had chicken on pizza, just not chicken fingers. Pizza is definitely on my list of top 5 foods. I could eat pizza once a week, maybe even twice a week. While my favorite pizza pie to order is veggie, I enjoy a good chicken finger pie every now and then.

The pizzerias below have 4-star ratings or better and are listed in no particular order. So, if you're looking to pick up a pizza pie for dinner tonight, you may want to try one of these. If I left your fav off the list, leave a comment and let me know. Bone apple tea!
