Earth Day is tomorrow Saturday, April 22nd  which is part of Earth month and here’s another way to help save the planet and rid yourself of your unwanted electronics.  Tomorrow at the GM Tonawanda Engine Plant, 2995 River Road you’ll be able to drop off old computers, cellphones, TV’s, and other recyclable electronics.  The collection takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is a safe and easy way to recycle electronics at no cost, and the items will be put back to use rather than ending up in a landfill which is a better environmental option.

Other Items accepted include during this collection are printers, scanners, monitors, keyboards, cables, game systems, digital cameras, DVD players, satellite receivers, circuit boards, tablets and rechargeable batteries.

TVs and monitors with broken glass, household appliances, microwaves, hazardous, pharmaceutical and commercially generated waste will not be accepted. Participants may be asked to verify that materials are generated by a household.
