The Bills this year, have signed seven UDFA's so far this offseason:

CB Travon Fuller | Tulsa

RB Raheem Blackshear | Virginia Tech

DT Prince Emili | Penn

OL Alec Anderson | UCLA

DL Kingsley Jonathan | Syracuse

WR Neil Pau’u | BYU

TE Jalen Wydermyer | Texas A&M

So, out of the seven players, who has the best shot at making the Buffalo Bills 2022 roster?

According to the 33rd Team, the smart money goes on Texas A&M Tight End Jalen Wydermyer.

Prior to the 2021 college football season, he was considered by many the top Tight End prospect in the 2022 draft class.  Wydermyer is a 6-foot-5, 255lb beast of a target who was a pass-catching machine in college and was primed to be TE1 off the board in this year's draft.  But then, he saw his stock slide after a sub-par final season in College Station where he hauled in 40 passes for 515 yards and 4 TDs.
The numbers were enough for the Bills to take a chance on him as a UDFA. He joins a TE room that includes 2021 breakout player Dawson Knox and free-agent acquisition O.J. Howard.

The 33rd Team says:

Wydermyer has prototypical TE size, is just 21 years old, and is a skilled receiver. With depth openings behind Dawson Knox and newly signed OJ Howard, Wydermyer has a good chance to stay if he performs well.

So, if Wydermyer performs well during training camp and the pre-season, there is a shot that we will see him in Orchard Park come September.
