Visiting Letchworth State Park
The park is East of Buffalo and South of Rochester. It's a little more than an hour drive from either city, with scenic views along the way. It costs $10 to enter the park per vehicle. You can camp at Lethworth as well, with fees ranging from $30 for a standard tent camping site to $300 a night for their luxury accommodations. There are Cabins, an Inn (The Glen Iris Inn), and plenty of space for RVs.
A great time to go is in the fall, because the foliage is absolutely beautiful. Winter, as you see above, can offer some very unique views. You really get all 4 seasons at Letchworth. To get more info, visit their website by CLICKING HERE.
