Lindy Ruff Talks About His Love For The Buffalo Bills [WATCH]

The Buffalo Bills hype has not been this high since the early 90s. The Bills are 3-1 and are preparing for a rematch of the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday night.

It was a different story 15 years ago; when the Bills took a backseat to the Buffalo Sabres, who were the talk of Western New York and were starting what would be a President's Trophy winning year in 2006-2007. The Bills on the other hand, were in the middle of a 17-year playoff drought.

The Sabres head coach back then was Lindy Ruff.

Ruff was the Sabres head coach from 1997-2013, and was also a player for the Sabres from 1979-1989. Lindy led the Sabres to the Stanley Cup Final in 1999 and four Eastern Conference Final appearances. He's easily one of the most beloved sports figures in Buffalo history; across multiple generations as well.

Lindy is now the head coach of the New Jersey Devils and during a recent press conference, decided to talk about the Bills impressive 40-0 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Lindy says he was on the bandwagon a long time ago.

If the Bills win the Super Bowl this season, Lindy is absolutely coming for the parade and after-party. He has to, right? Buffalo is still home to him and he always used to come to Bills games, even during the Sabres season in October and November.
